Transfer to the border checkpoint with Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Ukraine
The rules of crossing the border of Belarus and the neighbouring countries during the coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19)
Due to the coronavirus outbreak a lot of countries of the world have closed their borders and cut international flights. Our neighbours (Ukraine, Russia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland have also closed their borders. Belarus hasn’t closed its borders for foreign citizens and hasn’t stopped international air travel! But of course, due to the decrease of the passenger flow a lot of regular flights have been temporarily cancelled. If you are a resident of Russia, Latvia, Lithuania or Poland or you have a residence permit of these countries, and you can’t return to your country, you can do that through Belarus.
How it works!
You arrive at the International Airport of Minsk, we meet you and provide a transfer to the border post of your country.
Visa (for the residents of Latvia, Lithuania and Poland)
It’s worth mentioning that Belarus has a visa-free regime for many foreign residents.
The main requirement is that the traveller has to arrive in Belarus and leave the country through the International Airport of Minsk! That’s why the residents of Latvia, Lithuania and Poland should get visas at the airport of Minsk. If you forgot to do that and have already left the customs area, you can get an exit visa that is issued by the police. You can do that right at the airport of Minsk. The cost of the visa is about 20 Euro for each person. Children under 12 years can get free visas. The whole procedure takes about 20 minutes. Due to the coronavirus outbreak border patrol agents may make a concession and let the residents of Lithuania, Poland or Latvia into the country without a visa, but we recommend to get visas in any case. It is also important to keep the boarding card.
The border checkpoint
Our drivers provide transfer just to the Belarusian borderline and can't enter the neutral territory (as it was possible earlier), because if the driver visits the neutral territory, he will be placed under quarantine. At the border crossing point with Latvia, Lithuania and Russia one can cross both borderlines on foot. The Ukrainian border can be crossed only by car. That's why all residents of Ukraine are met by their friends or relatives on a neutral territory near the Belarusian security control point by car. It's important to mention that foreign residents temporarily are not allowed to enter Belarus.
Transfer to the border checkpoint
Every day we provide a transfer from the International Minsk Airport to the border crossing points. You can order a car or a minibus to go to the border post. We have a many year experience and are familiar with different questions that may arise at the border checkpoint or at the airport. If the passengers have questions or concerns connected with border crossing, we are calling to the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus and consult an expert.
We are available 24/7
