The main and the most beautiful street of the city is Independence Avenue, it is a little bit more than 15 kilometers long. Here there is GUM department store, KGB building, Minsk Hotel, the Main Post Office, the National Bank and other attractions.

You will visit the Railway Station Square and see the railway station building and two imposing towers called the City Gates.

On the Independence Square you’ll see the Government House with a monument to Lenin at the main entrance, learn about Minsk metro and visit one of the most beautiful Roman Catholic churches in Belarus — the Church of Saints Simon and Helena. Our guide will tell you the legend of the Red Church constructed in the early XX century.

On October Square you will see two palaces — the Palace of the Republic and the Palace of the Culture of the Trade Unions, as well as a magnificent Alexander Square and the House of the Officers, built by architect Joseph Langbard.

Then you’ll visit the Freedom Square (Upper Town), where the Minsk City Hall and many other historical monuments are located. Here you’ll see: the Cathedral of Holy Spirit, the Roman Catholic Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Gostiny Dvor, a complex of the former Uniate monasteries, hotels Monastyrsky and Europe, beautiful sculptural compositions.

You’ll drive to the very end of Pobediteley Avenue. Here are located: the Palace of Independence, a magnificent museum of the history of the Great Patriotic War, the largest park in the capital — the Victory Park, Sports Palace, Minsk Arena and other sports facilities.

Together with your guide, you’ll walk through the streets of one of the capital’s highlights — the Trinity Suburb. A historic district of the city has turned into a quiet place where Minsk residents and the guests of Minsk like to relax. And very close to the suburb is the Island of Courage and Sorrow — a monument to the Belarusian soldiers who died in Afghanistan at the end of the last century.

On the way to the Victory Square, you’ll make a short stop near an amazingly beautiful building of Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus — the only opera house and the largest theatre in Belarus located in Minsk.

Continuing the trip along the evening streets, you’ll see Yakub Kolas Square, the Children’s Railway, the Botanical Garden, the Academy of Sciences, as well as the largest church in the country — the Church of All Saints.

At the end of the sightseeing tour, you can enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the bright city taking a panoramic lift to the observation deck of the National Library.
