Stalin Line - Khatyn Memorial Complex tour

This tour will take you to the monuments of the Great Patriotic War (WWII). Out of all the war tours this one is focused on the global historic events that affected Belarus: inclusion in the USSR, the Nazi occupation and post-war development.

Stalin Line

Stalin Line is an informal name applied to a defense line that was built by the Soviets along the new western border in the 1930s. The site is divided into a number of sections that include restored bunkers with authentic interiors, exhibition areas with military vehicles (mostly post WWII) and equipment and a reenactment battlefield. Walk past the bunkers, trenches, tank obstacles and a restored section of the old border line can be concluded with a prearranged tank ride (as passengers, naturally).

Khatyn Memorial Complex

Khatyn is a memorial complex, a unique architectural and artistic creation of the hands of outstanding masters who wish to perpetuate the memory and pain of the Motherland. The monument was officially opened on July 5, 1969. During the excursion you will learn interesting facts that were declassified only in the early 2000s, you will see the only village cemetery in the world, walk through the "village of the ghost" and feel the fleeting moment between the past and the future.
